Does anyone here use the service? My brother-in-law sent me some information this morning. I've never heard of it before and I'm not really sure if it's legit.

Good prices on good stuff. The place is set up for certain military units, LEOs, and first responders. SOG knives, firearm optics, outdoor gear, etc can be found there. The manufacturers that you are allowed to buy from depend on your affiliations. For example, a LEO would get many of the same companies that an active duty military member would but there would be some that are exclusive to each.

What is the manufacturer's point in going to a site like this and offering a discount? What are the member's expected to do for them?

Nothing is expected. It's set up to give those groups discounts for putting their lives on the line. It's a pretty good deal. As a customer, you have to re-confirm every 3 years usually by your email address of who your employer is to keep getting the discounts.
