    So, if someone were to rent an area ,which had equipment inside of it, for say 6 hours, would it be considered "theirs"?

    from my understanding you must own the eq.

    With that said how often do ATF agents show up at your door.

    Aint no one ever going to know unless you spill the beans.

    I will push on with the drill press! Ill just go buy a cross slide vise or something

    My advise would be to keep the end mill or whatever you are using sharp, set the drill press to the correct speed for what you're cutting, and to take shallow passes. Drill presses were not made to be used as a mill, and are not optimal for anything involving horizontal pressure. I've tried doing something similar (not gun related). The chuck popped loose.

    Make sure your safety squints are engaged.
