I recently had an opportunity to fire a Beretta PX4 .45 that my range neighbor was firing. From that experience, I decided that this was one of those "gotta have it!" kind of guns. I purchased one, and now with nearly a thousand rounds down the pipe, I can say unreservedly that I like this gun as much or more than any gun I've ever owned. Absolutely wonderful!

I would love to be able to fire one of the PX4 Storm guns in the sub-compact size, either 9mm or .40. If you have one and you would allow me to put a few rounds through it, please drop me a PM on here. I'd be happy for you to fire this sweet .45 of mine if you so desired. Thanks a bunch!

I'm now at 1,040 rounds through my PX4. What a wonderful gun! I'm still in hopes of locating someone who will let me fire their subcompact a few times. At least it doesn't hurt to ask.

    sorry don't have a PX4. I handled the subcompact.

good news, its heavy. Bad news, . . . its ugly. and that is comming from a Glock owner. (maybe i just like the 92 : P )

it doesn't have the rotating barrel that the full sized has (IIRC).

    sorry i can't help you.

Thanks for the reply, Tex. I've handled a couple of the sc pistols at gun shows, and they do indeed seems to be a little heavy for their size. But I think I could deal with that.

Still hoping for an opportunity somewhere down the line to shoot one of the sub-compacts in either 9 or 40.

FWIW, the fired-round count on my PX4 .45 is now 1, 545. What a sweet shooter this gun is! I'm lovin' it!
