I could have used barbed wire for a more Mad Max look.

Sounds like you're good to go. I'd probably use 3/4 oz shot if you're shooting for shits and grins but that's just a personal preference.

777 cleans with just water which makes cleanup easier and faster than real BP or Pyrodex. Just make sure everything is dry and oiled when you finish cleaning. A compressor really helps with that.

I have a 16 guage that had this "fix" by my dad.

I took it off (big mistake) and that thing pinched the living crap out of my hand.

Good thing I wrapped this one then lol.

I'm going to the range tomorrow to try it out. I'll try and take a video of it.

Lit off the 2 shells I had today and it went fine. Not a lot of smoke with triple 7 though. I think I will find real BP!

Should I be concerned about this? It seems one of the chambers is looser than the other.

Does it look like the base is separating? I only ask because of the ring at the base. Black powder cases will have significantly more discoloration than smokeless will. I wouldn't worry too much about it unless there appears to be stress weakness in the case.

Bass Pro at the gun counter. You have to ask for it.
