    I have a SSA on hold but the Colt guys aren't in the office. I don't have a price on it yet, but have to pick it up soon. Looking at a SSA with serial number 1947XX that looks like the finish is stripped down to the stainless. 45 LC. Grips are ivory or pearl. It is definitely a shooter but not too beat up. All I can tell thus far is that it is probably gen 1, 1900-1915ish. I'd appreciate any advice on what to look for, too. =]

    Condition is everything with Colt SAA revolvers. Without photo's anything would been just a guess.....and not likely even close at that. There can also be a huge difference in price with factory ivory or factory MOP over stock factory grips.......
