anyone to parkerize a 1911 slide?

I live in Fairfield and looking to get a 1911a1 slide parkerized,anyone in my area or could do it by mail reasonable,dont really care if it is a gunsmithing business or just someone at home.Thanks

You might post your question on the CMP forum at [URL="http://www.odcmp.com"]www.odcmp.com[/URL] under the "Ask each other" section. They had several posts about places to have parkerizing done, but they just re-did the website and all the old posts are gone. I'm sure someone can direct you to where you can have the work done. I had to re-register on the website since they also deleted all our original log-in information.
