Ok, so I just read "the 4 hour body", and I'm wondering if anyone here has had any success with the different plans. The diet makes sense to me, it's basically like an Atkins diet with the addition of more "slow carbs". So that I can buy. But the claims about muscle and strength gains with next to no effort or gym time are pretty farfetched. I suppose I could be the guinea pig, but I just wanted to see if anyone (other than the author) has had success with these methods.

I would look into the Paleo Diet. It's not a diet, it's a permanent nutrition plan change.

Paleo's tough and strict with what you can eat but there are a million really delicious recipes out there for it. Highly recommended as a lifestyle change.

I lost 20 pounds in about a month, I'm still down 10 but it was killer. The cheat days actually hurt me I couldn't go back after a really good one. I went all out with the supplement too and didn't work out.
