    On paper the .40 S&W case is .424, a bit narrow. But I'm sure you could probably expand it out .005. Or I think fired cases are probably already more than wide enough and he just figured out how to size them to .429. I'm sure it wouldn't be too big a deal to make a die to size fired cases and put the taper on it.

    Very clever.

    I did notice there was no mention of accuracy.

    Not sure about obturation. One would think that a .40 case obturates to the chamber when fired at .40 pressures. Off hand I would expect a full power .44 load would do it. Maybe.

    I was thinking that someone might put a tungsten rod in the primer flash hole to see how that penetrates on steel.
