Im considering moving to appendix carry. Yes i know the concerns some have about it but there are some advantages to.

Have you tried or switched to appendix carry? Whats been your experience with it?

What holster do you use and how deep/high does it ride?

Lots of info on the pistol-forum as well. Yes I carry AIWB, I am using a TT Gunleather holster. I love carrying in that position. Super easy to draw.

I too have the Shield. Carried it this morning in a Remora holster about the 130 position. Will try it there for a while. Id like it to ride higher to dig into my leg less while walking.

Im tracking now. I bought the loops and have tried it IWB at 4 its just too wide for that. I do like it OWB at 4. The AIWB they sell is so much more narrow.

I suppose ill try with my Remora for a bit to see if i like the position before buying a dedicated holster for it.

Right, esp the time and $ that a RC take up.

Nice product, but man it's not cheap or timely, lol

I've been carrying IWB at about 2:00 (basically right behind my right front pocket) for quite some time. It's not quite appendix carry but close. I carry a 3" Colt Defender and anything longer would be uncomfortable while sitting, but the little Colt works fine. Always easy to get to.

I've got a cross draw OWB holster for my HK P2000. I find it very comfortable walking around, but not sitting for extended periods. It also requires a jacket or some sort of fairly long sweat shirt to conceal properly. Since this tread reminded me of that, and since it will be pretty cold today, I might revisit that if I need to make a Home Depot run or some such.

I pretty much wear only t-shirts and shorts when not at work. But my shield is slim so it conceals easily. Esp combined w the thinness of the RC holster

I have been thinking about trying to appendix carry as well. I have tried on some holsters at gun shows and they are ok as long as I am standing up, but suck when I sit down. I am sure there is a sweet spot, just aint found it yet. Plus I wear wranglers or ariats most of the time so that makes it even harder to appendix carry.
