Congrats on the status change. Guess now you get to see how long it takes to get from Austin to you. A lot of us are watching the website hoping for the same results you just got.

It was processing that was excessively long for me. I received my license in the mail very shortly after the status change. Hopefully, you will soon receive yours.

DPS recieved my application on Nov 12. Still waiting. The DPS sight is kind of lame in that it just says "application processing". I wonder how much they are paying for that "system"? However, no letter saying that it's denied either. So, staying optimistic.

Finally got mine today . 6 blinkin months man. There is a new design on the Chl's but they sent me the old one. I really don't care though. Hell, I wouldn't care if they sent me a license with no design on it. I'm just glad to see my name where it says CHL holder.

On the 59th day after DPS said that they recieved my app. the status on the web changed from "processing" to "complete, issued or active". Not too bad with the holidays. The ticker started counting on Nov 12th. However, have not recieved it in the mail. I am happy to be this close!

I'm going to the CHL class in my state this Wednesday. I hope it don't take as long to get mine as it has for some of you. It just seems outrageous the wait times some of you have been posting.
