When collapsed the wire looks like it's in the way of the bolt release.

H&K collapsible stocks suck on H&K rifles. Why would you want to put one on something good like an AR?

I had an H&K 93 with that type of stock except that the rods were hidden. It was a very heavy rifle and I sold it some years ago.

I agree on the buffer/spring tube. Where did it go?
