    Knowing how to use your gear goes for all of it, including your gun. Being able to put a hole in the black at the range doesn't make someone prepared for self-defense.

    gun mounted frees up your hand for reload. And since its smart to keep your gun aimed at the target and reload before your empty a hand light can show the target you are reloading.
