Do folks still feel the same way now that there is a little distance from the heat of the panic?
    Yes.

..would you buy up extra items to keep strictly for the purpose of resale next time around?
    No.

Do you have an opinion on those who would?
    Yes.

I don't go along with the "It's all just wonderful capitalism!" fanbois.

I don't buy emergency supplies to re-sell in times of need for excess profit. I've always kept a good stock merely because I feel that in a true, long-lasting emergency it's my duty to my fellow man to NOT be a burden on others, to provide for myself.

I had enough .22LRs in stock to trade for a new car during the height of the most recent panic yet I sold nothing. Some will say that I utterly failed to maximize the value of my portfolio. I say I can sleep at night and I can stand to look at myself in the mirror in the morning. Those things are more valuable to me than money.

BTW - Notice that I used the term "excess profit" in this post. To some, I'm sure that's proof I'm a socialist. I don't care.

Re: Dallas Cop fired, charged criminally.

I would encourage people to stock up. If they sell at a profit in the future, good for them. Forward thinking.
I don't get those who whine during a crisis and are mad they didn't stock up when things were cheap and now demand they be allowed to but below market value.
They are usually the ones who want to then sell the guns they paid too much for after the crisis passes

Agreed. I've said here and in several other threads that now is the time to stock up and explained at length my reasoning.

Anyone who isn't paying attention or is ignoring the market deserves to pay what they have to when the crap starts flowing again.

How can an upper be considered "complete" if it does not come with a BCG or charging handle?
It is not. Whoever is using that term to describe one without CH and BCG is either misleading or mistaken.
...and that would be PSA. They advertise both "complete" uppers with no BCG and charging handle and then actually complete uppers. Have to be careful when you're ordering a "complete" upper. A few other companies used to advertise them the same way, but most have moved away from the "complete" verbiage. I think PSA are the only ones still doing it.

It doesn't stop me from ordering from them sometimes... I just always triple check their ad to make sure I know what I'm buying. Oh, and I also don't expect it to arrive for 6-8 weeks and a couple prodding emails are sent:p

It is not. Folks just are not describing the item properly, intentional or not. Either way I find it irritating but eh, what can you do?

I did not think so, but have seen it.

Here is one, they call it complete (first line of description), then state what it is missing.

Actually, they state it is complete 3 times in the description.

    M4 16" Upper (5.56/.223, NO BCG/Charging Handle)
