If it was a white dude who shot everyone because "the Army tolerates abortion/gays" in the same vein as the Wesboro Baptist Church, you can bet your ass that the perpetrator would have been labeled a terrorist from day one.

I don't have the ability to look this up right now, but I distinctly remember a politician or talking head saying words to the effect of them hoping that it wasn't a Muslim - anyone else remember that.

I am glad this is finally happening. The only issue I have is, will this now apply to all service members killed by terrorists in CONUS? What about the soldiers at the Arkansas recruiting station? One was killed and another injured by a radical Islamist.
