Acevedo submitted his resume' to be Chief of the SAPD a few years ago..
He withdrew his bid after he discovered that SA is not as liberal as Austin, and that we have more gun-toting Democrats than in Austin. (If it were not for Democrat gun owners, San Antonio would never again have a gun show every other week or so).
We also don't take kindly to Californians who want to turn our state into a mirror image of California.
