    As a new gun owner, I'm pretty sure 10+1 is just referring to the magazine size and the plus one is the extra ammo capacity if you're one to store a bullet in the chamber.

    I know that's probably so obvious it's not worth mentioning, but the question was asked.

    And if for some reason I'm ever wrong, I'm sure y'all will be lining up to correct me lol

    Eh, we all start somewhere. I wasn’t brought up with guns other than a .177 pellet gun. Sure, Dad let me shoot his .22 & .32 a couple times when I was 11 or 12 years old but that’s it. He wasn’t a hunter. Not too long ago, I had to search out SA, DA, single vs double stack, and I’m still picking up what many here would call basic stuff that I didn’t know.
