Isn't anything used to assault someone an assault weapon?

    ZX9RCAM,

According to the NEW YORK TIMES STYLE GUIDE, an ASSAULT WEAON is ANY OBJECT that, "----- can be used to commit a criminal assault on a person or persons".

Similarly, a PIT BULLDOG is defined as, "-------- a canine that is capable of injuring or killing persons or doing severe damage to property".

STUPID DEFINITIONS like those is how the MORON LEFT gets all the "scarey-sounding" statistics. = The INTENT IS TO DECEIVE the IGNORANT, UNDEREDUCATED & NAIVE MEMBERS Of SOCIETY.

ADDENDA: A friend of mine's 5-6 month old English Pointer puppy essentially "ate up" the leather upholstery in his Mercedes SUV in 2018, so according to "The NYT Style Guide" a liver-spotted pointer puppy IS a PIT BULLDOG, as he certainly did serious & expensive to repair damage to the SUV interior.

    yours, satx

But, how much of that 280 billion is from "assault rifles"? That's how they twist the truth. Makes it sound like we could save 280B a year by banning a firearm that is actually used in less than one percent of firearms related crimes.
You could save 280b a year by turning the southern border into a minefield and airlifting every welfare rat to china

14% say yes, 83% say no. So where is that 90% that are for more gun control we keep hearing about.

Lol, it says people who vote no are less likely to read the nutritional content of their groceries. WTF?

Bozz, the left has many times stated misleading numbers of even gun owners, that support more gun control laws, but from my past observations on many different gun forums over the years, their numbers are false.
