    Although I have been looking at the bushmaster a lot. I do have some 300 ham’r brass as well. Which also got me thinking about that caliber. I have issues deciding

    I'm kinda partial to the .308/7.62 caliber, so I built one from Armalite components. This will go to my Son. He wants to put a night vision scope on it for night time piggy killin'

    I have a 224 Valkyrie that I like a bunch. Has much better range than 556.

    Out to 600 yds it’s comparable to 6.5 CM.


    I also have a 458 SOCOM that I love. But ammo is expensive. Also it’s somewhat finicky to load for.
    Had a blast shooting yours. Solid choice. Still grouped well for getting that barrel hot.

    Not sure if you decided on a build but I agree with 6.5 grendel or 7.62x39. Or you could go .223 wylde...
