    Thanks I bought my first one august 30th but the dealer didn't start e filing until September. Previous post led me to think it had started much earlier

    Mine wasn't e-filed. They cashed the check on January 7th. I'm begging to think it's a hit or miss when you call to check status. I called earlier this month & they claimed it was not in the system yet too.

    They punch in serial numbers & with mine were are talking 7 numbers. I can see them just going about their day not giving a shit if they do it right.

    I called today about a suppressor bought on 12-23-13. Not in the system yet! Was a trust purchase but not e-filed.

    I would go to the dealer and request that it be efiled. Contact the BATFE for a refund later. You should receive it in half the time. I had 2 efiles from last fall that both took 90 days, and a mail in that took 11 months from last April.
