Yeah, I've seen that, but this sounds like he's implying it's going universal...

Your title says Braces but you meant AOW.

Given the definition of a handgun, I have always wondered why this was not ATF position all along.

Their bungled and contradictory handling of the situation combined with their de facto secret laws prove beyond doubt our masters couldn't give less of a shit about us for not shutting them down already.

I seem to recall reading that Honey Badger 'ruling' actually came from a field office, and not the FTB - basically meaning it has no Force of Law and somebody is in for a disciplinary hearing for signing said letter.

The short version of this is, the ATF is up to their normal BS, Trump needs to man up and knock them upside the head, and pistol braced guns as they are right now are probably still legal, but that might change in the future. Gun owners need to unite on this issue and ensure that any even suggested attempt to restrict our right to own these is met with significant backlash.

All gun laws are infringements, ATF should be disbanded. That said - gun laws generally don't get repealed, and government agencies are the closest thing to immortality man has achieved. The ATF director needs fired along with every section head and new leadership needs reminded that they don't get to make law, they simply enforce it and act as a tax collection agency. Strict legal definitions should be adhered to, and if Congress doesn't craft a law specifically defining something, or outlawing something, it is defacto legal. No more "interpretation" bullshit - interpretation of the law is the responsibility of the judiciary, not tax agents. If they believe a crime has been committed they need to build a case, present it to a US Attorney and get a warrant (or a denial) and bring charges if the US Atty gives the green light. No more shenanigans like they've been pulling.

No government ever voluntarily reduces itself in size. Government programs, once launched, never disappear. Actually, a government bureau is the nearest thing to eternal life we'll ever see on this earth!

Take this post with a huge helping of salt!

President Kennedy was so angry and disgusted with the CIA over the fiasco in Cuba, due to internal politics leading to false information and maybe even outright lies about the situation in Cuba, that led to some poor decisions being made, that Kennedy threatened to dismantle and break the CIA into a thousand pieces!

Now that part is true, and facts bear it out. Now the part that is speculative, and part of the conspiracy theory fabric, is that because the CIA felt they were threatened, and afraid of being dismantled they were complicit in the orchestration and planning of the assassination of President Kennedy, and that Oswald was part of the plot, either directly, or indirectly and possible as he said, a patsy.

Now, to think that the CIA is nothing more that just a government agency tasked with discovering intelligence would be naive and delusional. They have been part and parcel of way more than that for decades. They have resources and funding that has been hidden from public knowledge and from Congress for way too many years. They hold tremendous power and sway over the government.
