Watchdog Report - ATF uses rogue tactics in storefront stings across nation

ATF agents befriended mentally disabled people to drum up business and later arrested them in at least four cities in addition to Milwaukee. In Wichita, Kan., ATF agents referred to a man with a low IQ as "slow-headed" before deciding to secretly use him as a key cog in their sting. And agents in Albuquerque, N.M., gave a brain-damaged drug addict with little knowledge of weapons a "tutorial" on machine guns, hoping he could find them one.

How long before we get the white knights of this board defending those actions saying we don't have enough information to make an informed decision of those actions.................SMH.

I read these incidents elsewhere which I will not name but it appears that the only Federal organization that we can put any trust in is the US Armed Forces which are from our midst and our brothers and sisters, not some political thing that hates firearms and firearm ownership .

I'm not all that surprised at this turn of events concerning the BATFE. They have NO constitutionallly granted powers yet they regulate and exercise control over our gun rights. It's beyond time for people to stand up for their rights and, basically, demand that this jack-booted thug operation be sent to the governmental trash heap.....along with Obuttfuckcare and most of the other communist/socialist/Marxist programs that have been enacted in the past.

"..If we had 'Mann Act Police', vacationing couples would experience the kind of harassment that gun dealers and collectors have experienced. There would be marriage license checks at state borders. That's because if a bureaucrat has only one law to enforce, survival of his agency demands finding someone who may be violating it... -Neal Knox on Sen. A. Specter's wondering whether BATF should be abolished, Am. Rifleman 3/96

There are enough violent criminals using stolen guns to keep these punks busy without trying to manufacture cases. When I lived in Chicago, my Uncle Al took me to see "Frank, the Fence". Frank showed me plenty of HOT guns including ultra short shotguns. There were uniformed cops sitting in his bar while we talked! It was wide open and all paid off so Frank had no worries. There's plenty of REAL lawbreaking if these guys would bother looking!

Save your "Bashing Cops" comments. I'm tired of hearing it.
