Well the videos I saw they were violating many of them. So they should be able to figure out how to put a stop to them. Sooner or later someone is going to put a stop to them.

Apparently it went way over your head.

Simply put, until someone breaks the law, not a thing can be done, legally. And anyone, who attempts to stop them from protesting, as long as they are acting legally would then be in violation of infringing upon their right to freedom of speech and the right to protest.

I understand and agree with your view, but what I think gambler was getting at is that every news clip I see of blm and antifa protests, they are breaking laws; destroying personal property, destroying public property, assaulting police, resisting arrest, etc, etc.

And just how would you propose they shut down UT?

Also, agree or disagree with BLM or ANTIFA, until they break the law, they are exercising their 1st Amendment rights to freedom of speech and the right to protest.
They break the law in almost every protest.

The “true protester” who are only exercising 1A rights need to be cognizant that they are being used by a subversive group who breaks laws and commits crimes. It they really wanted their message heard, they would help eliminate And disassociate themselves from these people.

Until that happens, I have zero respect for any of them

Refer to the other thread I posted a link to. APD seemed to be dealing with those violations.

And I totally understand and agree. But there is a fine line between opposing their viewpoints, and infringing upon their rights to freedom of speech and to protest. Crossing that line is extremely dangerous in many ways.

What you describe are criminal acts, and acts of violence, not protesting. From the videos posted on the other thread, yes, they were violating some of the rules of protesting, but there didn't seem to be any criminal or violent acts by the protesters.

I have zero respect for their false narrative they are trying to push.
