I talked to two people that might be interested in tagging along as well

Sent from the Bacon isle at your local grocery store.

I think it would be a good idea if we have a plan before the event, and figure out exactly what we'll be doing that day so we can be structured and organized with it.

I know the owner of BOTW, and I can get us a bay, possibly for a little longer than 2 hours (range fee would be $25/person though for over 2hrs), but we need to have a good number of people that will DEFINITELY be there. Last several classes I tried to hold there, I had a number of people cancel at the last minute or want to reschedule, or no show, which is not cool. Unless there's a decent number of people, say 10+, so BOTW is making their money, we'll probably be stuck with 2 hours on the bay. So lets figure out how many people are a definite YES, figure out a specific time, plan for the day, and get it scheduled.

One of the things I've been wanting to get back out and do is setup the IDPA classifier and do some practice runs on it. Good benchmark for people to start comparing their performance numbers to other shooters, since there is so much data out there on it.
I would be very interested in this.

The 23rd works for me, but I think I'm going to be working Saturdays in the near future so we should move future events to Sunday ;)

Unfortunately I can't make the 23rd. I have to go meet Bruce Campbell, Shatner and Scott Bakula that day at Comicon :D I am going to attend the multigun match this weekend at botw though if anyone wants to join me.

I might bring two more people; will that be too crowded?

I've never been to BOTW before... How will I know where to find you guys, or will it be pretty obvious?

That wouldn't be too crowded TheDan. The more the better. We'll just have to keep the firing line organized, and before we kick things off for the day, I'd want to have a safety/admin brief so that everyone is on the same page as far as safety, handling of guns, range etiquette, commands, etc. especially for any newbies that might be there.

Mikeinhistory, feel free to bring whatever you'd like to shoot.

Anyone have any ideas of anything specific that they want to do for the day? Breakingcontact, any plans or things you were gonna be doing/covering? Just let me know where I can help.

Ill bring some clay pigeons. They are great (one time) reactive targets that encourage you to shoot faster. Im no pistolero and i need to work on speed. We can do some simple drills with them.

We definitely have to keep safety first so im glad Sig mentioned that. With a group we will all have to be on the same page.

2 hours will actually go really quickly so the more we have planned out and ready before we get there the better.
