AUSTIN (WTS) M1 carbine National Ordinance $450

For sale is a commercial M1 carbine manufactured by National Ordinance in CA. If you have never heard of them you can read a little about them here, Ye Olde Gun Porn (Blog)

Also, here is me shooting it.

I don't really want to sell this rifle but I bought a Garand recently and need to make up the funds. It is very accurate for a commercial and I have never had a cycling malfunction. I have several original M1 carbines and this one is well able to keep up with them accuracy wise.

Comes with 15 round magazine marked "IA" for Inland, as well as the sling.

I live in Austin near downtown but I am capable of meeting within a reasonable distance.

Where's the closest point to SA that you can get to? I am interested as I've always wanted a M1 carbine since finding this pic of my Dad carrying one in Korea during the war...

...but I'd like to see it in person first.

You DO need another rifle, but you also need to store it at a friend's house for a while, until the right moment to mention the new acquisition comes along...preferably after having bestowed something of high value to your sweet wife.
