I'm entertaining the idea about trading or selling this. I got it fairly recently, but it's just sort of sitting there and gathering dust. Hell, I don't even really look at the damn thing.

It's a KUY serial prefix. LNIB. Comes with 2 mags, box, etc.

$650 FTF in the DFW area.

What is the significance of "Austrian-proofed"?

It is made and assembled in Austria, whereas they are typically assembled in Smyrna, GA. These were brought in to cope with demand back when Obama was first elected. It has markings on the slide, barrel, and frame indicating this.

I'll go ahead and admit, that it's nothing special if you're not a Glock fanboy. If you're of the belief that a Glock is a Glock, then this is not the Glock you're looking for.

You got it right. These were made in Austria for the European market and so have the required proof marks. Some were shipped to the US to meet demand. The marks are cool looking.
