I've tried both vegetarian and kosher diets. Both worked well for me and I still love veggies more than most normal high protein meals. But the kosher made me feel the most healthy. I don't give a rat's ass what halal says is good since I don't give a rat's ass what the moose limbs think about anything.

So long as a religion is not violating the rights of another, it is essentially to each their own as far as religious beliefs, especially to something as benign as diet, go in the United States of America. Religious freedom is one of the principles of this great nation that makes it very different from most other powerful nations, heck probably from most nations in general. I, for one, would not have it any other way.

As for me, I have no religious restrictions as to what I eat or drink and as the song says: "I'll eat when I'm hungry, I'll drink when I'm dry and if the moonshine don't kill me, I'll live till I die"!.

The way I look at all those restrictions is more pig in the pot for me. :stir:
