A real bike? or that Harley with 800 lbs. of bags attached to it?
I want a late 40s / early 50s Harley so I can build a bobber / ratrod hybrid out of it.

No you don't.....unless you like spendin' more time workin' on 'em than ridin' 'em.
I'd kill myself in an hour on a bike, so I'll probably never own one, but I like to think I'd want two bikes, a GSXR750 and a HD bobber.
Actually, no. My '07 has 'bout 30k miles on it w/nothing but routine oil changes and maintenance. Made a run to Mississippi last month - left Thursday afternoon, arrived Friday mid-day. Coming back, got up Saturday mornin' an' rode back tank-to-tank, averaging like 65 mph for the overall trip time - we won't talk about the top speed....bike never missed a beat, a tad over 650 miles one-way.
Been ridin' since I was 12....love ta ride, over the years been on everything from scooters on, depending on what I could afford!<G>
