BCA Upper on Aero M5 308 Lower?

Has anybody used a Bear Creek Arsenal upper/barrel on an Aero Precision M5 308 lower.

If so, how did it work out?

I have built a couple AR308s but made sure to use the same manufacturer for upper and lower. However, I have an Aero M5 lower and have occasionally seen a BCA upper that I liked.

I contacted BCA about it but they said they did not know.

I have a bear creek upper on a PSA lower. Only shot a few times (maybe 100 rounds or so). No issues yet.

I wouldn't worry too much about uppers and lowers unless there is something that makes it unique. I tend to be more picky on what goes inside or what connects to them. Of course I build to please myself, no one else.

Update:

I went ahead and did a build similar to what I described in the OP.

BCA 24" stainless fluted bull barrel and BCA upper on an Aero Precision M5 lower.

I haven't put a lot of rounds through it yet but it's firing fine so far.

I’ve built a couple myself and helped a couple buddies build theirs. All similar setups. BCA upper and Aero lowers.

Overall, we’ve all been happy.

Two issues we’ve encountered but are not deal breakers:

1. These builds have only liked brass ammo. (Not surprising)

2. Several of the rifles required using the forward assist most of the time when loading the first round. Seems to get better after putting some $ through the barrel. (Haha)

Picked up an Aero M5 lower, but having trouble finding necessary parts for 6.5CM upper build(obviously)

all you need to know is if they are both dpms or sr25 pattern. They don't mix/match.
