It does. The model is actually a SR9e.
It is an economy version of the SR9.

Yes it’s basically an sr9 without some things. (Upgrade lol) Thanks for the input on the mags. Feedback on ruger forums was showing different but who am I to say? I never looked at a security 9 mag.

I’m not sure what you mean about the forums showing.
Too be clear, I am saying the 9e will take SR9 mags and not take Security 9 mags.

Lol thank you. That’s what my research showed and what I was referring to in post 3.

A google search revealed a thread on a ruger forum showing the two mags side by side.
