Anyone use a belly band style holster? Any thought on it? Id like something concealed but dont want the hooks to show when if I have to wear something tucked in and also need something for when Im not wearing a belt.

I've got one of the bulldog brand belly wrap holsters and it has a purpose. Originally bought it for when I went jogging (doesn't happen much these days) but it bounced around too much with my carry pistol. I mainly use it when I dress up and go out with a tucked in button up shirt, good thing is I can carry just about any gun I want in it.

I have been looking at some "belly band" options as well. I carry in the waist band now, but tucking in a shirt when I need to is still a little hard to tuck without noticing my G30. This seems like it would be easier to conceal in a tucked in shirt situation.

Since i am too cheap to buy one I just use the back support belt provided by work.

I clip my crappy bulldog holster to the top. Carries it a little high for my liking but it does work.

I've been thinking about getting crossbreeds version. I'm a lefty and I kinda like the idea of being able to reposition the gun without taking off the whole band.

I got a generic belly band off eBay a couple years ago. It's 6" wide unlike a lot of them. I have carried everything from a full size 1911 to a P238 in it. Not crazy about the sweat gettin' on my weapons, but it's damned handy when I want to wear shorts & a T. Also makes a great place to stuff your wallet & phone, I hate having crap in my pockets.

But with a pistol, wallet, and phone in there, if you bend a certain way, it probably looks like you have a lot of "crap" in your colostomy bag, though. LOL
