Spotted one at a gun show about 5 years ago in Inox. Better half had been looking for a purse gun, and while I'm neither a fan of purse carry OR rounds under .45, the practical side of me realized that she'd never carry one of her .45's. So, I hand it to her, she pronounces that she likes it - and goes to set it on the table to "talk about it some more". I grab it before it hit the table - and the other 4 sets of hands reaching for it could get it. Paid the guy for it on the spot, much to the chagrin of the others around us.
That's a long way to say that they are pretty hard to find - and if you DO find one, know your price point and if it's in range, just buy it. If you "want to think about it", odds are it won't be there when you get back.

Not a single one to be seen.

Yeah I've seen the ones on Gunbroker but I'm not paying what those jackals are asking.
For that kind of money I can have a Colt 1903 and money for ammo left over.

Yup. Had a guy try to buy hers one day. When I told him what it'd take, he said "That's crazy!" I agreed - and told him good luck finding one. It's kinda like her li'l .25 Colt.....it just ain't for sale unless you wanna get REALLY stupid with yer money!

IMO, about $75 high. Then again, finding one in and of itself is a challenge. We paid $325 for the Inox......now I feel better about the price.<G>

Oh....and fwiw....a new INOX Tomcat runs about $360.00 Dealer cost.....

Then again even finding one for sale is a pain.

Thanks - had a customer bring in about 80 guns for us to do a consignment sale for them on Christmas before last. We had already closed, so they brought them by the house, and I started going through them. Better half spotted the Colt and went ga-ga over it, so I snagged me this li'l Plainfield Carbine

and bought 'em at a fair price.
