if the regular 92fs frame is too big, either thin grips or the vertec frame is a good answer. Newer beretta 92fs frames also have a slight radius on the back which can help, older ones are pretty much the same frame as the M9. If you can get proper finger placement on a normal (non-vertec) frame, you may just have trouble with the trigger weight, in which case, get a D spring.

The Vertec style frame is neat, but i personally use the wrap around grip on my M9A3 as i occasionally ride the slide release down without it. It does give you a more vertical grip angle, but wont really alter LOP.

I always felt that the compact Berettas were just a hair too short in the grip for me, and 99% of berettas aftermarket is for the full size guns...

I'll get in line to shoot it too. Berettas and I have never loved each other, but I keep trying.

Bass Pro has them advertised in their most recent mailer at $799. They list both a 92x and a 92x Centurion. I have no idea what the difference is between them.

Next months gun purchase for me will be the 92X Centurion. It has almost everything that the Wilson Combat Centurion tactical has at about half the price. I will be getting the black M9A3 rubber vertec to standard grip for it as I prefer that one to the one that is included with the 92X.

The 92fs is one of my bucket list guns. Thanks to the die hard and lethal weapon movies.

Although this pistol was used in a bunch of movies it really is a fantastic weapon. I have about a dozen different 92 variants and they all are great. You will not be disappointed in the 92FS.

When you get it I would recommend to change the heavy 20# hammer spring out for a lighter 16# "D" hammer spring. It's an easy part to change and it will make the trigger pull be much smoother and easier.
