Beretta 92fs Inox with Laseraim Question

I bought a used 92fs Inox from the Forum about a year ago. When I bought it, it had a Laseraim ported barrel. The serial number puts it at a manufacture date of 2000. My question is: Did these pistols come from the factory equipped with these barrels, or was it added at a later date?

Also, I have posted a WTB thread for an Inox barrel. They have been discontinued by the factory. If you see this here and have one you want to sell, let me know.

It did not come from the factory with a Laseraim barrel. As a matter of fact, I had to look up what one was. I sent you a PM.
