Recent acquisition. With times being what they are I wanted to add another piece to my stable. I wanted something low cost that would also be concealable, and if possible a gun that my wife would "take a shine" to. The following is what I got: Bersa Thunder CC with grips custom made and engraved by Dennis Marschal. My wife loves dogs so the grips have a Cavalier King Charles Spaniel engraved on one side.
Range Report:
It fed 150 rounds of MagTech FMJ without fail. I also tried Wolf Ammo and it would not cycle Wolf. I later traded 400 rounds of .380 Wolf for a cheezeburger and a chocolate shake.
Fifteen feet away, shooting off hand. Tiny sites and poor eyesight from yours truly resulted nothing but 'black' hits.
My two primary carry pieces are a 1911 and a Kahr P40. I don't expect this gun to substitute but at the same time I think it's a cool looking little gun that has it's own niche to fill. Should it ever be called upon I believe it will do it's job.
