    What s everyone's favorite .22 rifle?
BSA martini model 12 target rifle, approaching 100 years old and still a tack driver! My haul around is a fine 1923 Savage model 23..over 100 years old and has original Lyman rear peep with windage and a Lyman globe with filters and assorted reticles ....used to be able to strike matches at 15 feet like my dad, however I blame the poor stick match quality for my current inability to repeat, however at 50 feet ALL dimes still DIE;) Side gun is a Ruger Single Six from 1968 which I bought new at 18....dimes are safe from it but beer cans DIE!

I seem to have noticed that just about everyone on here has “10-22’s” but few call them their “favorite”.

My fav’s, in addition to the baby Anschutz; were a Winchester Mod 62 (?) pump and a plain Colt “stagecoach” .22LR.

I must be one of the few. My 10/22T is one of my favorite 22's, as well as my CZ 457 Varmint, my Remington 552 Speedmaster.
Hell, Every 22 caliber firearm that I have is a favorite. They are fun as hell to shoot, no matter if it's a rifle or handgun.

My first gun was a Marlin model 81. It ended up with a cracked barrel. My dad got another one. And I still have it.

I’ve shot coons out of trees at 80 yds with that rifle. Crazy accurate. $25-35 per hide was big money back then. Kept me in gas money for a couple weeks. About the only way for country kids to make money in the winter.

Back then anyone could sell furs to the fur buyer. My senior year in HS the law changed and you had to have the fur license ($300) so it became too costly to be worth it.
