    What exactly do you have to do to a nuke to make it tactical? Maybe add a rail light ort a laser?

    Nope. Just make it small enough to blow up lots of bad guys and not hurt your buddies in the next town. There was a time when using nukes was considered acceptable. Just sprinkle them about the battlefield but don't go crazy with them and ruin the whole planet.

    I always wondered what it was like to be assigned to deploy a nuke that couldn't shoot far enough to keep you out of the blast radius, like the Davy Crockett. You dig a foxhole, fire it, jump in the hole, and hope for the best, I suppose.

    Cost is a major concern for most any government acquisition (even though they will still overpay), so I wouldn't put too much stock in "it's up to gov standards".


    Not a knock on the gun or 9mm, just the reasoning.
