Best Gun Deal you ever got

Best Deal? Why that would be the Winchester Model 55 Lever Action .30-30 manufactured in 1931. Great bore, about 80% bluing left on the receiver, slightly more on the barrel. Wood has seen some workin' times but has a lot of class.

The price you ask? $175.00 - Had a neighbor who's husband died and she was just quietly selling stuff off. I tried to pay her more but she didn't need it so she wouldn't take it.

well about 4 months ago i got a marlin 782 .22 mag for $100 at a local pawn shop and about 2 years ago i picked up a winchester model 270 .22lr pump for $69.99.

Paid $ 835 for my Armalite Ar-15 in FDE(BNIB in late 08'), delivered.
Paid $ 300 for my Rossi 45LC levergun(exc. cond. in '04)
Paid $ 300 for my Cimmarron model P in 45LC(like new w/action job in '04).
I guess none of these are deals mind-blowing, but I would do it all over again for these same prices if I could !

Winchester model 94AE 30-30, lever action LNIB for $180 from a friend of mine. He had only shot 2 boxes of shells but never took it hunting.

He also sold me my latest deer rifle (only shot 1-1/2 boxes through it), Remington 700 BLD,DM in .270-$450. Saw it at Academy for $700.

My buddy sold me his Baby Eagle 9mm with 150 rounds, an extra clip, 3 different holsters, and a 2 pistol handgun case for $300. He also sold me a bull barrel, synthetic stock, and a bushnell scope for my 10/22 for $125. He gets bored with his guns and accessories and I reap the rewards.

My best friend gave me a Seecamp for my birthday. He also gave me a GSG5 rifle for a bonus for some work that I was paid for.

Another old friend gave me a John's Guns .308 suppressor, a77/22 suppressed rifle & a MKII suppressed pistol. I just called ATF & the suppressed stuff just went pending may 8th.

My dad saves an old S&W from my aunts trash one day & sent it to me.

Those are just the free best deals. I've been buying assault weapons for 30 years so all them were best deals when looking at their worth today.

10-20 years down the road the right guns are a great investment.

Picked up a Springfield 1911 G.I. quite a few years ago when they were first released. The first models came with cheap plastic 'wood grain' grips, but then they changed to the actual wood "G.I." grips. Local shop had a couple of the plastic grip models left and wanted to get rid of them before putting the new models on the shelf. I didn't have a 1911 and always wanted one "just because", so I bought it... $350. They put out the new model the next day at $479 or something ... of course they are more like $650 now. It's wearing some nice VZ320 green/black linen micarta grips now anyway.

Just picked up a Glock a couple months ago. Was at a shop helping a buddy pick out an HK USP and overheard a guy try to sell a couple G19s to the shop. They only offered him $250 a piece. I asked him about them, walked outside with him, and soon had a like new G19 in the box with all accessories and a single 15rd mag for $300 In this time of obamahype I was very happy with the purchase.

I was after the air compressor and nailing guns the rest was going to be a dump run
My 10 year old kid found them in a paint locker when she cut the lock off of it so we could empty it and crush it.

He reaction was "I found them their mine!!!"
She gets the 1100, she is a bit scared of the 1911

A friend who just moved to a commie state for work (will be there for 3 years) called last night and told me he was shipping me his Romanian RPK along with 10 40 round mags and 2 75 round drum mags and 2,500 rounds.

Asked 350 for it. I felt bad so I sent him 500 this morning.
