Best place in DFW for CHL

I'm going to get my chl in the next few weeks and am wondering where the best place to get one in DFW is, also I heard it was better to get the license for utah because it let's you carry in more states true?

Texas Handgun Academy on Plano Rd in Dallas seems pretty decent and simple enough to deal with. Nothing fancy, but it gets the job done in one trip.

That first part will make some folks laugh and some folks cry ...the 2nd part has it's own thread going. Get the Texas CHL.

The first part ought to read, "...I'm going to try to take the CHL class in the next few weeks although I know that might be tough but I'll still be waiting 3-6 months for the actual CHL if all goes well."

Okie dokie let me clarify. Simple question simple answer is the name of the game not simple question smarta$$ comment, so I ask again where would the best place in dfw to get my chl done at? And what with Utah permit?

I'll deffer to the Dallas side folks to recommend for the best place to take your class in that part of the metroplex. The one in the thread I posted is in Tarrant County, but if you don't mind traveling, it seems like a good place.

They do both Texas and Utah. I'm not sure if you can add the Utah part onto the "first time" texas class, but I know it was an option for the texas renewal class.

These guys are awesome. If you're gonna spend 10 hours in a room with anyone, it's these guys.

I took my class last year at the Bullet Trap in Plano.

Class was all day on a Sunday. Came back to qualify the next Wednesday evening.

They completed fingerprints/pictures that day.

Had my CHL by Halloween.
