Just be careful as with the higher end glass out there in the used market there are a shit ton of chinesium fakes. Ask seller for pic of serial number and call factory to see if it is real if possible before buying

I am a huge fan of buying used quality stuff but they hold their value well.
Unless you get really lucky the price won't be much different than new.
Good luck finding exactly what you want at a reduced price. It's not a big market.
I have had decent luck buying a scope on a rifle then selling the rifle separately. If your finances allow of course. Or asking a seller to separate the two.
This time of year works in your favor too. People need money for Christmas.
