Around the 900 to 1150 range, was looking at a Ruger American in 308 that looked nice but have heard mags are hard to come by locally from a local range goer
Ruger American,Savage Axis, Weatherby Vanguard and several others are all good options

The interweb is your friend. Just google Ruger American mags. They run $30 to $50 depending

The Ruger American Ranch series uses mainly AR mags. It doesn't come in 308, but it does come in 350 Legend, 300 BLK, 6.5 Grendel, and 450 Bushmaster. All of which are good rounds for deer and hog. I am not 100% sure what mags the 450 uses, but I think all the others use AR mags. They also make one in 7.62x39, and I think those use Mini 30 mags. From what I remember reading, those can have feeding and reliability issues.
