Just heard...but still makes me wonder.
Fox national was showing Abbot @ 56% & 49.7% Cruz vs Beto 49.7% around 830pm. How was Cruz not 56% with Abbot... they had the same counties reporting?
Looking at numbers from the map in the midterm thread, it showed P Bush with more votes than Cruz.

You guys are delusional if you think Beto is one and done. Mark my words, you will see him in another election. I'll go out on a limb and say 2020.

He made a lot of enemies in the Democrat Party, blowing $70mm+ on a vanity campaign he had extremely little chance of winning and pulling literally tens of millions of dollars from other campaigns where the Dem had a chance. Meanwhile, the Dems lost ground in the Senate, and they know Trump is likely to annihilate whatever tool they nominate in 2020.
The lesson for the Republicans is to spend a LOT more money.

O'Rourke will be back. He is just like Obama. Lies about being a moderate, young, some charisma.

I just have a hard time believing that 4 million people in Texas were either ignorant and/or gullible enough to vote for O'Rourke. Amazing. Disgusting.

Well, if he’s gona run for President, he’s got to get that arm flapping and flailing thing, under control!

Not sure who told him all that arm waving was a good oratory technique but the poor slob has surely been misled.

The last run of his commercials were off- putting to me both in content and delivery. Lecture me sternly on how you’re way is the only right way and punctuate the message with the knife hand isn’t really the best way to send home a message of inclusiveness.

Then run it non-stop during early voting. No sir; not a good way to win friends and influence people.

Left me wondering just what it’d take for him to go completely unhinged. Not much, I imagine.
