She is back in the news again. "Judge Gonzalez was detained after the gun was found during a screening of her belongings. The handgun, which had a round in the chamber and magazine inserted, was found in her carry-on bag."

This judge has gotten in trouble before.

"Judge Rosie Speedlin Gonzalez, the first openly gay judge to be elected in Bexar County, Texas, has been ordered to take down her rainbow LGBTQ pride flag by a state commission that claimed it showed "bias."

Her ass should nailed to the wall.

    The Law is the Law.

    Right?
If you have a LTC and make the mistake I thought you had a free pass if you immediately turned around at a secure airport area. Not sure if judges need a LTC. Surprisingly this is a very common mistake. Doubt that anything happens here.

Walking towards a TSA check point with a prohibited weapon and turning around BEFORE you get there is legal. AFAIK.
Unless you are someone allowed under the Law to carry past a check point, going through one, or attempting to, is a crime. Period.
    Big no no.
She should pay the same for stupidity, or a criminal act, as anyone else.
