The Lexington of the Texas Revolution. The Battle of Gonzales, where our own Texas challenge flag, the motto of many of the defenders of the 2nd Amendment, "Come and Take It" originated. October 2, 1835. More here:

My third great grandfather was one of the old eighteen that defended Gonzales. There's a family legend that the cannon was buried in his peach orchard, then dug up to be used on the Mexican Army.
