    F'n scary

"Even more chillingly for those who see personal weapons as a guarantee of freedom from government oppression, FN speak of the Black Box as a "weapon manager", hinting that feds, military superiors etc. might even be able to disable a gun remotely."

Now they would know where you shot, what you shot, where it is, and where it has been. Anyone know where to get lead lined PVC pipe? :lolz:

I don't see this in action but it could be on the streets for us non-military

This is scary. If you gave that to troops they would run a high risk of being captured or destroyed by enemy forces if it sets off any kind of remote signal. Even if it has an electric pulse of any kind I would think there is a sensor that looks for it. And if they put that in a civilian market rifle couldn't you just remove it?

You could but jack-booted thugs might come to your house to replace the batteries.

This is just a sensor. Until our weapons start using electrical primers and firing mechanisms, I'm wouldn't worry.

The HK45 has something similar in it. It's used for LEO usage.
