I remember hearing about a Sergeant getting arrested on Camp Lejeune for robbing Marines at an atm on base. His arrest led to the arrest of about 8-10 others, all Marines, who had formed a gangYup.

I loved to read the warrant roundup OPORDs that gave some nice insight to the numbers and types of crimes being committed by military members.

I went into the AF in 1972, they didn't even let me fire anything or even get near anything.My father went into the Air Force in 1961 or 1962, He said they fired the M1 carbine on the range one day, and a Smith & Wesson revolver the next day during basic training. He said that was the only time he ever touched a firearm in the Air Force the entire time he served.
