Act Blue was the Tulsi donation. When you go to the FEC and look, expand the Tulsi donation, and you'll see act blue. There isn't a separate act blue donation.

Veteran or not, Tulsi Gabbard is a Democrat that supports a huge gun control agenda. That seems a rather odd candidate to support when your company name is based upon those "evil black rifles" and the 2nd Amendment.

Supporting anyone, in any way, no matter how small the donation, that supports gun control of any type, is being a hypocrite.

Now it's entirely up to you if you can justify such behavior, and that's your business, but for many people, that ain't happening.

Does not explain the donation to actblue, Gabbard, and others who are actively campaigning to make felons out of the law abiding.
Tulsi donation done because she's a vet and was getting railroaded by her party during primary
Obama was done on a bet he lost hence the multiple McCain donations at the same time

It was exposited to me that the McCain donations came months before the O'bummer donation. Soooo, he made the balancing out donation BEFORE he made the bet???????? Nah.

Still call bullshit. You don’t market exclusively to the black rifle owning public and give money to some commie twat that wants to ban them.

Twas probably getting some of that twat... looks like it might be pretty fine, if you can hold your nose.

Thats odd because he said he donated to Obama because he lost a bet. A liar who can't get his story straight. Yup, he's a liberal

As I noted in a previous post, and this is all a guess, you donate to someone that can't win in a general election, so that the frontrunner (I guess Biden at the time) doesn't get the nomination. Like I said, I voted for HRC in the primary to keep Obama from winning in Texas. I don't in any way support HRC but it was a technique to knock Obama out. Didn't work.

That’s funny, because most people figured Biden was possibly the worst choice possible. If not at least in the bottom half.

You realize Trump has donated large sums to democratic politicians. That list includes Hillary Clinton, Chuck Schumer, and Sleepy Joe Biden. Actually, the list of democrats he's donated to is shocking IMO.

Well, he was a NY Democrat and anyone who looked his past wouldn’t be shocked at all.

It’s a big part of why I argued against him in the 2016 primaries. Didn’t trust him at all.

Edit to add: Trump has been against the hard leftist push. He has argued against things Gabbard supports. Things like “not being racist isn’t good enough”.

I did know that, and it was many years ago. Back then, they loved Trump. But that all changed when he started running for president. I think recent history proves this.

People switch parties all the time for various reasons. I wasn't always a conservative Republican voter either!

Ok that's good. I was just addressing the part about someone supposedly being a conservative & defender of the 2nd Amendment and showing support for the gun control zealots. That falls in the hypocritical category to me.

I think we all fall into the cancel culture too easily. I know I have. I'm trying to practice giving folks an opportunity to adjust or maybe we just get unfiltered news too quickly sometimes and react off bad information. Again, I'm guilty of this - trying to be better. I just think sometimes we just don't have all the correct info with the 24 hour news cycle.

This deal with BRCC might be one of these cases and again, they may just be hypocrites?

It may be true but then agasin not. I am always leery of such things when there are no sources given and a name of a website is not sufficient as a source. To be honest, as best I can recall, I did a 4th or 5th grade assignment (Maybe it was social studies or history as it was called then) in which I did a cut and paste of magazine photos and clips of articles that looked better than that and I had to list my sources in my report on the project. I do not think I got a very good grade.

I understand where you're coming from and for the most part agree with you.

But looking at this from a general point of view and our the current time frame, it just IMO doesn't pass the smell test. IIRC, the BRGG has been in business going on six years. We have been in a massive fight to retain and defend our existing gun rights, and they are still throwing everything they can at dismantling them every day.

In regards to Tulsi Gabbard, I respect her service to our country as a veteran, and there are many political positions she takes, even with her being a liberal Democrat that I can agree with, but her stance on gun control is kind of like a defining line that I can't agree with or cross over. Compared to most of the hard leaning socialist Democrats occupying DC, she is probably one of the more moderate and level-headed in Congress.

When your company logo, and name are using the "evil black rifle" front and center, and you claim to promote the 2nd Amendment and claim to be Pro-gun, then turn around and are caught dead to rights, donating money to people that have a record of wanting to infringe our gun rights further, then I have a huge problem with that as a consumer, or a potential consumer.
