Blowin' into SA tomorrow

Have a 3-day dove hunt on a place about 20 minutes south of San Antonio.

Whats the birds like down there?

Thats my neck of the woods....great dove hunting in many places.

Most of the doves around SA carry switchblades. Other then that, healthy population.

What a hoot! I was 13 the last time I went bird hunting. That would make it around 1974.

We were about 10 south of Loop 1604, east of 281. Not a lot of birds flying. Guess it is still too hot.

But I came home with 9.

Damned Doves are so thick here, they break their necks flying into my windows, clean out the bird feeders, drink out of and crap in the dog's water bowl, and eat all the dog food they can while my lazy bird dog rolls over to take another nap.
