I need a complete bolt carrier assembly for my ar build and the ones at bcm are still out of stock. Im looking at a chromed ar bolt from stag arms. Ive heard they are good. Is that the purchase I should make or keep on waiting and wishing?

Don't bother with the chrome plating. The original trials for the M16 included a chromed bolt and the military scrapped it because it would wear out the upper receiver faster. Quite frankly, there's little benefit to a chrome plating on the bolt carrier, you'd have to fire 100,000+ rounds to wear out a standard carrier. The barrel and bolt will go far sooner.

I'd just get an LMT or BCM M16 bolt / carrier group. The F/A carriers have a bit more mass so they tend to make the guns run better.
