Because of this thread, I bought the tactical works one. Took me longer to get my tools together than it took to do the install. I got the blemished version to save some coin. Couldn't find the blemish. It is simple and effective. Put a few rounds through it on my .308. I like it.

Well, finally got this done. Sorry for taking so long.........simple install, took about 30 minutes, works great.

Nice harbor freight woodworking bench you have there. At last I'm not the only one.

I just got mine in the mail today and will be fitting it this weekend.

Did a "dry fit" over the 10/22 stock and it sure seems big (width wise) compared to the standard stock. I hope it clamps down well enough to maintain it's positioning.

It shouldn't be a problem. They bolt down very solid.

I went with Tac Pro, as they have a narrower version for slimmer stocks, and a contoured side that gives an improved cheek-to-riser fit. I also got their wider version for my M1A.

LOL........yeah, the HF bench has been pretty handy. I just wish the drawers were a little deeper and would slide out a little further. HF has some "good stuff" as well as "junk"......ha,ha!
