A guy at our silhouette range was shooting one of those in 45-70 and had cuts all over his face. He was shooting at a 4x8 sheet of plywood set about 10 yards out. I saw maybe 2 hits on the plywood. Seems that every time he fired it, it came out of his hand and hit him in the face. Guess stupid has no bounds.

I don't have one but I have shot a few H&R 20 gauge SBS and "turkey leg" guns. The 20 gauge is a featherweight in the recoil department next to a 12 gauge. Very easy and quite fun shooting. Here is mine. It's not what you asked about but can't be much different. It's a cupcake even not shouldering it.

Sorry to hijack but I love that SBS. Here is a 12ga I put together a year or two ago. Kicks like a mule.

Do they even make one? I've fired one in 410 and that produced quite a kick. Manageable, but not something you want to spend too much time shooting. I don't think even the larger ones have a big enough handle for a 20 ga.

Even though I don't own a Bond Derringer, it has always been one of my favorites! Perhaps, it will make my "bucket list."
Still, I have never seen or heard of a Bond in 20 gauge.

I want to do this with a few H&R single shots. Unfortunately, everyone seems to value them at $100 higher than MSRP from when they were discontinued.
